How To

What it is

Start a session and WITH fires 15-second Stands. A Stand is any position where you use your mind and muscles under tension: push, pull, hold still, or reps.

Physical culture, kept small.

Before you start

Breathe normally through every Stand. Never hold your breath.

Never act on a cue while driving, near water, while operating machinery, or when sick.

Stop if something feels wrong. Read the Disclaimer before your first session.

Quick start

1. On Home, pick your muscle groups and a Mode.

2. Press Start Session.

3. When the cue fires, hold for 15 seconds. The finish tone tells you when to let go.

How to Stand

Two ways, both isometric.

Overcoming isometrics. Push against something that won't move: a wall, the floor, your own hands.

Yielding isometrics. Don't let a load move you: a band, a weight, your own body.

Reps work too. See Tips below.

Tips

Calm natural breaths.

Stand every day.
How much is up to you.
Take care of your time & energy.
Some days you Stand hard, some days easy. Both count.

Variations to try

Pulses: short bursts, relax, burst again.
Pyramid: each surge harder than the last.
Low to max: build up steadily, finish at max.
Wave: build up, hold at the top, ease off slowly.
Steady: one even effort for the whole 15 seconds.
Steady plus bursts: hold at half, add short harder bursts.

Mind to muscle focused reps work too. Even light weights are enough if you put in the work.

If something hurts, stop.
Never act on a cue while driving, near water, or when sick.

Mode

Audio always plays when a Stand fires. Mode decides whether video plays too.

Mono. Audio only. Works with the screen off or the phone in your pocket.

Coy. A short muted clip for each Stand, discreet enough for an office. Posture: Seated, Upright.

Bullish. The clips people will notice. Gear: Wall, Floor, Band, Weight. Untick what you don't have.

Classic includes all of Mono. Coy and Bullish come with the WITH subscription.

Depth (Mono)

The 6. Push, Pull, Legs, Neck, Core, Grip. The same six the video modes use.

Nodus. Every muscle inside them, 25 in all. Fire Triceps on its own instead of all of Push.

Just Time. No muscle groups, just a clock: Stopwatch, Countdown, or Metronome.

Session settings

Session (min). How long the session runs.

Intensity. How much of the session is filled with Stands: Low 20%, Mid 50%, Athletic 80%, Wild 100%.

Audio. The cue sound: Mantis Shrimp, Minimal, Voice, Alert, Soft, or Silent. Voice speaks the muscle group.

To keep a setup for good, open Settings (the gear, top right), set it, and press Save Default.

How I use it

At work. Open while I do emails, calls, admin. Float pins it on top of every window (Chrome, Edge, Brave).

Active break. A few minutes. Up from the chair, wall, floor, a band. Mix postures.

On a walk. Voice on, phone in my pocket. It names the group, I hold it as I walk.

Install it like an app

Android, or desktop Chrome / Edge / Brave: open Settings (the gear) and press Install App.

iPhone: Safari, Share, Add to Home Screen.

Mac: Safari, Share, Add to Dock.

Firefox: no install on any device. Keep the tab open, everything still works.

Compatibility

Float window: Chrome, Edge, Brave only. Firefox and Safari don't support it.

Everything else works in every browser, desktop and mobile.
